A Coy have been tasked with Rapid Military Aid to the Equatorial Guinean Government after a serious uprising on the island of Bioko.

SITUATION
2 Up intent:
To disrupt Rebel operations on the island allowing the restoration of the rule of law.

1 Up intent:
To dominate, by patrolling, the areas used by the enemy for logistics and training.

Ground:
We will be operating in the rain forests of Southern Bioko. This is a tropical rain forest with undulating terrain and thick, dense jungle. Buildings are of single storey construction typical of the locality.

RED FORCES
Known and Assessed Enemy Positions:
We know the enemy is actively patrolling in this area. The availability of large numbers of fighters seems to indicate a nearby logistics hub, suspected of being on the main north south road to our east.

Strength: Enemy is assessed to be in Coy strength across the immediate AO.
Morale: High due to recent combat successes
Uniforms/Dress: Not uniformed. Mixture of civilian and military clothing
Small arms: Up to 14.5mm have been identified. Mainly of Russian manufacture but now including some western SA.
Hvy Weapons: RPG-7, or variants. No information on IDF capability.
Vehicles: Likely Technicals and soft skinned vehicles
Aircraft: Highly unlikely

Air Threat: Gen 1 MANPADS, SA, HMG and RPG’s.

IED/Mine Threat: Low

IV. MISSION
My mission is to conduct patrolling activity around PB ATLAS with the intent of disrupting enemy activity

1 Platoon mission:
To conduct a DOMINANCE PATROL north of PB ATLAS with the intention of locating and destroying any enemy presence.

2 Platoon mission:
To act as QRF for F12C's RECCE patrol. Deploy immediately to HLS HERMES and liaise with F12C to facilitate their extraction. Expect hostile activity.

3 Platoon mission:
To conduct guard and local patrolling duty on PB ATLAS

Support Platoon mission:
To provide additional firepower to Lt Millar

Patrols Platoon:
To break contact immediately and head south east linking up with 2 platoon prior to extracting.

JHC mission:
To provide
a) rotary CASEVAC, reinsert and resupply operations.
b) TACP party to both Inf Platoons
c) FW CAS through EGAF
d) Rotary CAS
